Over the last couple of weeks we have been running a survey asking you which you see as most important when you buy golf clubs; Brand, Price or Fit.
Well I can tell you the results were overwhelming in favour of Fit with 84% of you thinking this was most important. 8% of you though that Price was most important and just 8% thought that Brand was the most important criteria when buying golf clubs.
Congratulations to Michael Hunter who was drawn out at random from those that entered and wins the dozen Callaway Chrome Soft.
Not that it has got anything to do with me turning forty and having to proove that there's still life in the old dog, but I've decided to run the Brighton Marathon again and would really appreciate your support. This year I'm running for both the Men's and Ladies Captain's combined charities, The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. Please click here for more information on the wonderful work they do.
Training has been going well, a couple of little injuries but all looking good for Sunday 12th April so if you would like to support me and more importantly the Charity, please either click here to visit my Virgin Giving Page or simply email me with you pledge. I would like to thank you in advance for your support and generosity.
Last week saw the ladies head out to play possibly the most complicated format known to man, the Bisque Bogey. It's all about picking where you have your shots, it's against the course and generally gives you a headache just thinking about it. No offense chaps but I really don't think it would work on a Sunday, do you? However, one lady shone out as a mathematical genius, as well as playing some great golf, congratulations to Sue Osbourne who took the spoils with a fantastic score of +5!
The Gents played their Monthly Medal and dispite our competition software throwing in a couple of oddities, some great scores were shot in the sunshine. The winner of Division 3 was Jeff Simmons with a nett 66. Division 2 was won by Malcolm Walker with a nett 67 and finally Dave Taylor shot an excellent gross 73 nett 63 to take Division 1. Well played chaps some great golf!

J Lindeberg arrives in store
I am happy to say that the Spring/Summer collection from J Lindeberg has just arrived, some really nice pieces which can be worn casually, not just for golf. So please pop in and have a look or send in the other half for a Birthday gift as one of the members did this week.
Also as the season is nearly upon us, all my demo clubs are arriving in, so if you are looking for a new driver or a new set of irons, please pop in and I can give you something to try. If you like what you try, then I can offer a custom fit session to make sure that the club in your hands is perfect for you.
