What Happens when we Re-Open? Current Plans We are crossing our fingers for a swift return to golf and for a re-opening of our shop, but some may I ask what will happen when we open with lessons, the shop and safety? Shop- The shop will have clear external signage that will show only 2 golfers will be allowed in the shop at any one time. Outside the shop, a socially distancing queue will be set out for those busy days, think the outside of a supermarket. There will also be a hand sanitizers station outside the Shop. Staff will wear gloves and regularly change these or after any potential cross-contamination situation such as handling cash. (hopefully, we can source gloves, trying our best!) Transactions will be on card or account as much as possible. One way you could help us do this is by topping up your account by an amount that may cover you for drinks/chocolate when you play. The shop will be laid out with all essentials close to the till, but feel free to browse the store as normal, we will help whilst adhering to social distancing measures. Lessons & Fittings- Once back open we will be back coaching & fitting, bookings will be taken as normal by contacting us direct in the shop. Again all measures taken in the shop will be in action during lessons. Fittings require more handling of equipment so we will be keeping all equipment sanitised before & after sessions. We will also be wearing gloves, changed between sessions. Our Services- We will operate all club repairs as normal, tee bookings and monitoring the golf course. Anything we can help with, no matter how big or small, we will be there to do so! Lastly, we are looking to have a screen put in place at the shop desk. This has been ordered and we hope it will arrive in time for the re-opening but will certainly be there in the very near future. This is a bit of an overview, but we will have a document in place that can be read by all when we re-open the shop. This will feature the above, plus more information in greater detail where needed. |
