Back to back Winter League wins

This Sunday saw another big field had out to play in Round 2 of the Men’s Winter League series. This week, the format was Betterball Pairs Stableford and despite the 90% handicap, this round always threw up some big scores and this week didn’t disappoint.

In fact, three big scores as there was a three-way tie on 44 points and it couldn’t have been tighter having to go to ‘back three’ to decide the winners. It was that pairing again of Declan O’Brien and Adam Crockford who took the spoils. Looking good for the series so far.

England vs South Africa

If you’ve been living under a rock, you may not know that England are in the Rugby World Cup Final this coming Saturday against South Africa. So, why not come up to the Club and enjoy the game and have a bit of breakfast as well, as the kick-off is at 9:00am.

Breakfast will be served from 8.15am and the Bar will also be open if you fancy and early morning tipple.

We are expecting a number of members up after the Semi-Final, so if you would like to book a table in the Lounge Bar then please let us know. Only stipulation is that you must have a breakfast to guarantee the table.

Spotlight | Callaway JAWS MD5 Wedges

What we love most about Callaway is that each time a new product comes out, it performs better than the one it replaces in the range - something we certainly noticed in the latest Mack Daddy wedges.
